An endowment was established for those who fast, but there is no one to benefit from it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: I have bread from a waqf (endowment) for the fasters of the mosque, and people’s desire to eat in the mosque has decreased. So, should we hire someone to prepare it with a stew of sheep from the endowment
and make it suitable for the diners’ preferences, or should we divide it among the poorest of the neighbors of the mosque whom we see?
Knowing that the endowment for the lamp and the endowment for the fasters are adjacent, what should we do with them?

A3: The purpose of the endowment for the fasters is to feed them when they break their fast, seeking the reward promised for one who breaks the fast of a fasting person. So, there is no harm in preparing food for them with a stew from the endowment for the fasters, and giving the one who prepares it his wage from the endowment. It is not permissible to distribute it as cash to the poor neighbors of the mosque. If there is no one to eat it in the mosque, the yield is distributed to the poor of the town in Ramadan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
