Boycoting the one who abandons prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The ninth question of the fatwa numbered ( 6261 )
Q9: Is it permissible to boycott a man who does not come to the congregational prayer, and is it permissible to pray in the house next to the mosque and leave the congregation? Is that acceptable or not?
A9: The principle is that the congregational prayer in the mosques is obligatory for men. So, if one leaves performing it in congregation in the mosque without a valid religious excuse, then whoever knows of him should advise him. If he does not accept, it is prescribed to boycott him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
