Standing to Complete a Deficiency and the Takbir for It

Q2: A man prayed the four-unit prayer in congregation and said the taslim in the third unit, and after
that he remembered, so he stood up and said the takbir of ihram. Some of the brothers objected to him, saying there is no takbir of ihram in this. Is there a takbir of ihram or not?
A2: If one forgets and sits down due to a deficiency in the prayer, he is not required to say the takbir for standing when he remembers or is reminded. If he says the takbir when standing to complete his prayer, his takbir does not affect the validity of his prayer; because it is a signal to the ma'mum (those praying behind) of his response to them in standing to complete the prayer, and the takbir is a type of dhikr prescribed in it, so it does not invalidate it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
