The seventh question of the fatwa number ( 4679 )
Q7: If intercourse takes place between a woman and a man, is it permissible for them to touch anything before they perform the ritual bath? And if they do touch something, does it become ritually impure?
A7: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions. After that: Yes, it is permissible for a person in a state of major ritual impurity to touch things, such as garments, plates, and pots, before he performs the ritual bath, whether he is a man or a woman; because he is not ritually impure, and what he touches does not become ritually impure by his touching it; based on what is established in the authentic hadith from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him),
That he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on one of the days, so he withdrew from him and then returned. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Where were you, O Abu Hurayrah?" He said: "I was in a state of major ritual impurity, and I disliked to sit with you while I was not in a state of ritual purity." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glory be to Allah, the Muslim does not become ritually impure."
.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
