The Ruling on Performing Wudu in the Bathroom

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The eleventh question of the fatwa number ( 8691 )

Q 11: Whatis the ruling on performing wudu' in the bathroom, and if one places a barrier between the place of ritual impurity and the water tap, is the wudu' valid?
A 11: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions. After that: If a barrier is placed between the water coming from the tap and the place of
impurity, such that when the water falls on the ground, that ground is pure, then there is no harm in performing wudu' and istinja'. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
