Q2: What is the ruling on praying over two funerals, one present and the other absent, should one pray over them with a single prayer? Or should one pray a separate prayer over each funeral?
A2: Given that the prayer over a present funeral does not differ in
its words or actions from the prayer over an absent funeral, we see no harm in praying over both funerals, the present and the absent, with a single prayer, just as one would pray over two present funerals or two absent funerals. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
