The questioner : I am learning the Qur'an from tapes, and what I learn after the 'Asr prayer I recite after the Fajr prayer. Is this practice permissible or not? Please give us a ruling, and may Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and the Imam of the righteous, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them in excellence until the Day of Judgment. This practice is permissible. I mean that you listen to the Qur'an from tapes in the afternoon, then you repeat it after the Fajr prayer. And if you wish to follow another method, there is nothing wrong with it, because the means have the rulings of their objectives. People differ in how they retain the Qur'an or other speech. So do whatever you find easiest for you and closest to memorization. Yes.

The questioner : He says, "O honorable Shaykh, in this question."
