The ruling on the eclipse prayer if it occurs after Fajr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If the eclipse occurs after the Fajr prayer, is it prayed?

Answer:
It is prayed; because until now it has authority, the sun has not yet risen, and due to the generality of the evidence, we prayed this year in al-Taif. It was a lunar eclipse with Fajr, and we prayed after the dawn had appeared.
Q: The author’s (may Allah have mercy on him) deduction: “And upon this, the authentic texts indicate that the prohibition in Fajr is not tied to its actual rising?”
A: There is an objection to this; because its occurrence after the Fajr prayer does not prevent what is before Fajr; because evidence has come indicating that what is before Fajr is also a time of prohibition, except for the Fajr sunnah. This is unlike the Asr prayer, where the time of prohibition does not enter except for the one who has prayed Asr. For example, if you are traveling and did not pray until after the people had prayed, or if you are sick and did not pray until after the people had prayed, this does not prevent voluntary prayer before the obligatory prayer. One prays before it, then prays the obligatory prayer. That is, the time of prohibition enters for him after the Asr prayer. It is not after the people’s prayer, but after his own prayer.
Q: His statement: “Like Asr,” does this make them equal?
A: The correct view is that it is not like Asr. The prohibition enters after the dawn has appeared, and nothing is excepted from this except the Fajr sunnah or the greeting of the mosque.
