Delaying the prayer from the beginning of its time in order to seek water

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 12650 )
Q1: If you are traveling and the time for prayer enters while you are on the road, and you do not find water, and you know that you will reach water before the time expires —if Allah wills that I reach it— should I wait until I reach the water, perform wudu', and pray, or should I perform tayammum when the time enters and pray?
A1: If it is most likely in your opinion while traveling that you will reach the water before
the time expires by a duration sufficient for performing wudu' and offering the prayer, it is permissible for you to delay the prayer from the beginning of its time. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
