The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7811 )
Q2: What is the authenticity of this hadith in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The man who comes after the adhan is a bad man" or as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said.
A2: The Qur'an urges hastening to good and clarifies that it is a race for the forgiveness and mercy of Allah. This includes performing the five daily prayers in congregation in the mosque at the beginning of their times. Whoever does so has a great reward. However, this does not imply that the one who comes to the mosque after the adhan for prayer is a bad man; rather, he may be among the best of the Muslims. The one who is a bad man is the one who delays the prayer beyond its time, or is lax in performing it in congregation. This is based on what Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated, saying: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah. As for the hadith mentioned, we do not know of any basis for it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Three from whom Allah does not accept prayer: a man who leads a people who are averse to him, a man who does not come to the prayer except late, and a man who has taken a freed slave as a slave.
ثلاثة لا يقبل الله منهم صلاة: الرجل يؤم قومًا وهم له كارهون، والرجل لا يأتي الصلاة إلا دبارًا، ورجل اعتبد محررًا
