Ruling on Children Entering Mosques

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 6278 )
Q4: What is the ruling on children and the insane entering the mosque?
A4: The guardian of an insane person must prevent him from entering the mosque, in order to ward off his harm from the mosque and the worshippers, and to seek his treatment. As for children, they are not prevented from entering the mosque with their guardians or alone, if they are
of discernment, being seven years of age or older, so that they may perform the prayer with the Muslims. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
