Allah Created Seven Earths and Seven Heavens

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 8805 )
Q: Is there mention of the seven earths in the Noble Qur'an or from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); because there is a difference of opinion among us? In which surah of the Noble Qur'an or in which hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A : It is established in the Noble Qur'an that Allah the Exalted created seven earths, just as He created seven heavens. He, the Exalted, said:
It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.
[At-Talaq 65:12]
, and it is also established in the authentic hadith that the earths are seven. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated, from Sa'id ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever cuts off a span of the land unjustly, Allah will encircle him with it on the Day of Resurrection from the seven earths
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 7:57
, and in the two Sahihs, from A'ishah , a marfu' report to the same effect. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
