Depicting living beings is absolutely forbidden

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 7450 ):
Q: We had started a project for a magazine for Muslim children called (Arawa), and we are attaching a copy of it for you. Someone we trust in his religion objected to us regarding the drawings of people, knowing that we had avoided in our work drawing the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them) and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Nevertheless, we are coming to you with this letter to seek your ruling on the permissibility of what we have undertaken, hoping for a quick response to our letter.
A: Depicting living beings is absolutely forbidden, even if the images are not of the
Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them) or of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and using them as a means of attracting interest and clarification is not a justification for permitting them. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
