Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((Indeed, it is a wretched place of settlement and abode...)).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
[Al-Furqan 25:66]
Indeed, it إِنَّهَا
To what does the pronoun refer? To Hell.
is a wretched place of settlement سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرّاً
This is a great condemnation. It means: It is a wretched place of settlement in which a person settles, and a wretched abode in which he resides. So it is not good, neither in its settlement nor in its abode. And it is known that it will not be good while it contains this great punishment, which is known from the Book and the Sunnah. This description of Hell is the opposite of the description of Paradise. What did Allah say about Paradise?
Good is the settlement and residence.
[Al-Furqan 25:76]
So choose, my brother, choose this or that. And
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
[Al-Furqan 25:66]
. And in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
a place of settlement and abodeمُسْتَقَرّاً وَمُقَاماً
there is evidence that the servants of Allah believe that the Fire is a permanent settlement for its people, who are its owners, because the owners of the Fire, who are its owners, do not come out of it. And the Fire does not perish. Allah the Exalted said:
wherein they abide forever
[An-Nisa 4:57]
. And Allah the Exalted mentioned eternity in three places in the Qur'an. The eternity, the abiding of the people of the Fire, is in three places:
So He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said in Surat al-Nisa:
(168) Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path. (169) Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever.
[An-Nisa 4:168-169]
. And He, the Exalted, said in Surat al-Ahzab:
(64) Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. (65) Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper.
[Al-Ahzab 33:64-65]
. And He, the Exalted, said in Surat al-Jinn:
And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever.
[Al-Jinn 72:23]
. Forever, the eternity of eternities. The Fire does not perish
nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
[Al-Hijr 15:48]
.
If someone were to say: How do they endure it? Do they not burn? The answer is:
Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment
[An-Nisa 4:56]
.
Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
[Al-Anfal 8:50]
. But the Creator, (Exalted and Majestic is He), is able to restore them a second time. He restores them. The skins cook, but they are renewed. And so on, forever.
And if they cry for help
After a long period, they ask for water
And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces
[Al-Kahf 18:29]
. As soon as it is brought near their faces—may Allah protect us and you—it scalds them and they are torn apart. If it reaches the intestines, listen:
and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
[Muhammad 47:15]
So there is no benefit.
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
[Al-Furqan 25:66]
.
