'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa number ( 7066 ):
Q4: Is it authentic that it is narrated from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "If it were said that everyone enters Paradise except one man, I would think it was me?"
A4: It is not established from 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said this, as far as we know. Rather, this is inconsistent with the strength of 'Umar's faith, his good opinion of his Lord, and his hope in Him. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
