A8: The Qur'an written in our hands is the speech of Allah (Mighty and Majestic),
which He spoke truly, and Jibril (peace be upon him) heard it from Him, and Jibril brought it down to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who recited it and ordered it to be written. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) wrote it, and the Salaf transmitted it until it reached us. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
