The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 7482 ):
Q4: Is the Qur'an speech or is it supplication, as some people say?
A4: The Qur'an is the speech of Allah, which Jibril (peace be upon him) heard from the Lord of the Worlds, and it was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he recited it to him. It contains supplications:[Ali 'Imran 3:8] , which is a verse from the speech of Allah the Exalted. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
