The ruling on one who dies while still young

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 7790 ):
Q4: It is said, O honorable Shaykh, that when a child is born, it is written on his forehead whether he is happy or wretched. So what is the ruling on one who dies while still young, having not attained either happiness or wretchedness?
A4: His ruling in this world is the ruling of his family. If he is among the Muslims, he is washed and prayed over, and he has their ruling in the Hereafter. But if he is among the polytheists, his ruling in this world is their ruling; he is not washed and no prayer is performed over him, because he follows them. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding those of the children of polytheists who are killed: "They are of them." As for the Hereafter, their affair is with Allah. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was asked about the children of polytheists:
Allah knows best what they would have done.الله أعلم بما كانوا عاملين
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1949Sahih (Darussalam)
. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad , his family, and his Companions.
