The leadership of the child of fornication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of the fatwa number ( 2857 )
Q6: Can the son of fornication be an imam for the people?
A6: The principle is that the child of fornication is like any other person regarding leadership; due to the generality of the saying of the Exalted:
Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of youإِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ
[Al-Hujurat 49:13]
, and His saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The people should be lead by the one who is most well-Versed in recitation of the Book of Allahيؤم القوم أقرؤهم لكتاب الله
Sunan Ibn Majah 980Sahih (Darussalam)
the hadith, and the sin of his mother and the one who committed fornication with her has no effect on him; due to the saying of the Exalted and Glorified:
and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of anotherوَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى
[Al-An'am 6:164]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
