Q3: Calling out to and supplicating to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in every need, and seeking his help in calamities and misfortunes, whether near—meaning: at his noble grave—or far away, is it ugly shirk or not?
A3: Supplicating to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), calling out to him, and seeking his help after his death in fulfilling needs and relieving distress is major shirk that takes one out of the religion of Islam, whether that is at his grave or far from it, such as saying: "O Messenger of Allah, heal me," or "return my missing one," or the like; due to the generality of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Jinn 72:18] and His saying, Mighty and Majestic: [Al-Mu'minun 23:117]
and His saying, Mighty and Majestic:[Fatir 35:13-14]

And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed. (14) If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].
