Giving money to fortune-tellers to avoid their evil

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q7: If a person wants to leave their presence, they might prevent him from doing so. Is it permissible for him to give them some money to stay away from them? And if he is able to avoid using their medicines and these practices of theirs, is it permissible for him to greet them because he knows them, or should he boycott them once?
A7: First: It is forbidden to give them any money in exchange for their evil deeds, which is their purpose. However, if he gives them some money to get rid of their evil, there is no blame on him. Second: It is not permissible to greet them as long as these are their practices, unless they repent from them and abandon them. Rather, it is obligatory to boycott them until they repent. It is also obligatory to report them to the court, the authority, and the committee so that they are punished with what they deserve, such as execution or otherwise. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
