The claim of fortune-tellers that they know everything

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of the fatwa number ( 18891 )
Q4: What is the ruling on fortune-tellers and diviners who claim to have knowledge of everything , to the extent that some of us go to them when they lose something, and some of that may be verified?
A4 : It is not permissible to go to fortune-tellers or diviners, nor to ask them questions, nor to believe them, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Whoever goes to a diviner or a fortune-teller and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammadمن أتى عرافًا أو كاهنًا فصدقه بما يقول فقد كفر بما أنزل على محمد
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 15:740
(peace and blessings be upon him), and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
He who visits a diviner ('Arraf) and asks him about anything, his prayers extending to forty nights will not be accepted.من أتى عرافًا فسأله عن شيء لم تقبل له صلاة أربعين ليلة
Sahih Muslim 2230
narrated by Muslim in ( his Sahih ). These fortune-tellers and diviners, by their claim to know the unseen, have committed disbelief in the Great Allah and exited from Islam; because knowledge of the unseen is among the attributes of the Lord, Exalted and Majestic. He, the Exalted, said:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allahقُلْ لاَ يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلا اللَّهُ
[An-Naml 27:65]
, and He, Mighty and Majestic, said:
(26) [He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone (27) Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observersعَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلا يُظْهِرُ عَلَى غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا (26) إِلا مَنِ ارْتَضَى مِنْ رَسُولٍ
[Al-Jinn 72:26-27]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
