Fatwa No. ( 5292 ):
Q: I ask your honorable committee to look into this poem submitted to you, especially since it is recited after the completion of the Qur'an. Therefore, I seek a ruling on this matter, as I have not found anyone in our country to convince me. Is this supplication permissible in the Shari'ah or not?
A: First: It is not permissible to recite poetry at the completion of the Qur'an, neither your poem
nor any other; because nothing has come regarding this from him (peace and blessings be upon him) nor from his Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them). Rather, that is an invented religious innovation. It is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sunan al-Bayhaqi 17:1261 , and in another wording: Sahih Muslim 1718b . Second: We have previously issued a fatwa on the ruling of supplication after the completion of the Qur'an, No. (5042). Its text is: (The supplication attributed to the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah at the completion of the Qur'an, we do not know its authenticity from him, and we have not found it with any explanation. However, its attribution to him has become famous, and we do not know of any harm in it. And if a person supplicates with other supplications, there is no harm in that; due to the lack of evidence specifying a particular supplication). Third: Your poem contains calling for aid and seeking help from other than Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in matters that only He (Glorified and Exalted is He) is capable of. It also contains turning to other than Him in matters that only He (Glorified and Exalted is He) is capable of, such as your saying:
and his saying:
And all of these things are among the types of major shirk (associating partners with Allah) in which one who dies upon them will abide in the Fire forever.
In it, there are also matters of religious innovation (bid'ah), such as seeking nearness to Allah through the status of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or through any other righteous or wicked person. So seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him, the Exalted, for He is the One who said:[Taha 20:82], and the One who said: [Al-Furqan 25:68]. Up to His saying: [Al-Furqan 25:71]. Fourth:Ahmad al-Tijani and his followers who are committed to his path are among the most extreme of Allah's creation in excess, disbelief, misguidance, and religious innovation, because they do not legislate what Allah, the Exalted, or His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) have not legislated. The Permanent Committee has previously written examples of their innovations and misguidance, and we hope that Allah will make it beneficial for you and that it will be a cause for your guidance to the path of the saved sect, the people of the Sunnah and the community, whose characteristics are made clear in the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): . And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.
وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىAnd those who do not invoke with Allah another deity
وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَdoes indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance.
فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًاMy Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all in the Fire except one. It was said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Those who are upon what I am upon today and my Companions
ستفترق أمتي على ثلاث وسبعين فرقة كلها في النار إلاَّ واحدة، قيل: من هي يا رسول الله؟ قال: من كان على مثل ما أنا عليه اليوم وأصحابي
