The ruling on sitting with the Sufi orders that remember Allah through swaying and staggering

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 9529 ):
Q2: Praise be to Allah, I am inclined to follow the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the righteous Salaf. However, I have sat in some Sufi gatherings and assemblies for the sake of knowing the matter, and I was shocked to see them performing movements and dances that, even in the worst cases, do not befit the dignity, modesty, and awe of a human being... Then they engage in figurative interpretation of established matters, and they focus most of their actions on tormenting the soul by various means. Their worship relies mostly on dhikr (remembrance of Allah). They also frequently mention the awliya (close friends of Allah) and the righteous, and they believe in them more than they do in Allah and His Messenger. They also have certain opinions, and most of these opinions attack the righteous Salaf who hold firmly to the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) with true adherence. However, they have some opinions that agree with the authentic Sunnah as understood by the righteous Salaf. I have sat with these people
more than once in an attempt to know the secrets of this world. Most of these people are from excellent social classes, including university professors, doctors, engineers, and employees, as well as ordinary people, and there are also many young men among them. So, do I sin by sitting with them despite what I have mentioned...? I also ask you, may Allah reward you with good, to clarify the picture regarding these Sufi schools and their beliefs, especially since they have taken on organized forms with bodies and organizations recognized by the state.
A2: It is known about all the sects of the Sufis and their groups that they remember Allah with religious innovations (bid'ah). They dance, stagger, and sway to the left and right, up and down. They address Allah in their remembrance with names other than those by which He named Himself and other than those by which His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) named Him; for example: "He is, He is, He is," and: "Ah, ah." They remember Him by the name: "Allah, Allah, Allah," and by what they call: the dhikr of the heart, as the Naqshbandiyyah do. They remember Him by what a group recites with one voice, and they call for aid in their remembrance to the dead and the absent, saying: "Help, Abu al-Abbas," "Help, Dusuqi." This is shirk (associating partners with Allah) that takes one out of the religion of Islam. They believe that their shaykhs (scholars) possess secret knowledge by which they perceive the unseen, and that they have secrets by which they act behind the ordinary causes. We advise you to read the book [This is Sufism] by the Shaykh Abd al-Rahman
al-Wakil to know many of their innovations. Sit with those you know hold firmly to the Book and the Sunnah and reject innovation. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
