Ruling on Delaying the Sacrifice Until Three Days After the Festival

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 7170 ):
Q: I am from the Egyptian-Sudanese border, and in this place there are many Sufi paths of those who have gone astray and led people astray, and there are some people who delay their sacrifice until three days after the festival so that these Sufis, who come to perform their false rituals, can eat it, and they think by doing this that they are doing something of the religion. Is their sacrifice valid, or is it just meat as in the hadith?
A: What you mentioned about the groups of the Sufi paths being innovators and that they are misguided and misguiding is the truth. And what is prepared for the sacrifice from livestock and its slaughter is delayed until after the festival by three days, it is not considered a sacrifice; because the maximum period for slaughtering the sacrifice is four days, including the day of the festival. Rather, it is meat he presented to his guests;
in honor of them, and in cooperation with them to spread and promote innovations, and that is from cooperation in sin and transgression. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
