Go and find (something), even if it is an iron ring

أصدقها ولو خاتمًا من حديد

This is not acted upon. Why? Because there is the fact that

There is no mahr of less than ten dirhams

لا مهرة في أقل من عشرة دراهم

, and the hadith is not authentic. They left the authentic hadith and took the weak hadith.
