The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows, this is the monthly meeting that takes place on the night of the third Sunday of every month, unless there is an obstacle. This meeting, this meeting is the sixty-eighth of the monthly meetings. This night is the night of the sixteenth Sunday of the month of Jumada al-Thani, year 1420 AH.
In this meeting, we will speak about what remains of the verses of the end of Surat al-Furqan. Yes. From the verses of the end of Surat al-Furqan. We have reached the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?"
[Al-Furqan 25:77]
. There is no harm in us repeating what came before it because of the benefit in it. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, says:
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace.
[Al-Furqan 25:75]
.
Those are the ones
Meaning: those who are characterized by those previous attributes, from His saying:
those who walk upon the earth easily
[Al-Furqan 25:63]
to this verse:
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured
[Al-Furqan 25:75]
. And the One who rewards them with that is Allah, Mighty and Majestic. But He did not name Him because it is known. And if a known thing is not named, there is no harm. Have you seen the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic:
and mankind was created weak.
[An-Nisa 4:28]
. - Stand up, my brother, you who turned around. You stand up. -
and mankind was created weak.
[An-Nisa 4:28]
By the Creator? It was omitted because it is known. May Allah bless you. So
They will be rewarded with the upper rooms
Who rewards? Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And it was omitted because it is known. No one can put anyone into Paradise except Allah, Mighty and Majestic, even if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passes by, when the people of Paradise pass over the Sirat, they are stopped at a bridge between Paradise and the Fire, and final retribution is taken from some of them by others, which removes the anger and hatred in their chests. When they come to the gate of Paradise, they find it closed. They need someone to intercede for them to open it. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intercedes. This is after they have reached Paradise. So how is it if they have not reached it? It is not possible to reach Paradise, and it is not possible to be rewarded with the upper rooms except by Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And we said: the upper room, what is meant by it is the genus, otherwise it is more than one. As He said, the Exalted:
and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].
[Saba 34:37]
. Upper rooms: the plural of upper room. So what is meant by His saying:
the Chamber for what they patiently endured
[Al-Furqan 25:75]
is the upper rooms, and they are the upper rooms of the Gardens. As He said, Mighty and Majestic:
But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers
[Az-Zumar 39:20]
Yes,
for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow
[Az-Zumar 39:20]
.
