What is the authenticity of the hadith: “Learn sorcery, but do not practice it”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Among the questions: What is the grade of the hadith:
Learn sorcery and do not act upon itتعلموا السحر ولا تعملوا به
?

The Shaykh : It is strange that some people think or imagine that this is a hadith from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). This is like poetry, because it is rhymed speech.
“Learn sorcery, but do not practice it *** Knowledge of a thing is not ignorance of it”
On one hand, on the other hand, it is impossible for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to order the believers to learn sorcery. How could he do so, when learning sorcery is seeking aid from the devils, as is explicit in the Noble Qur'an:
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic واتبعوا ما تتلوا الشياطين على ملك سليمان وما كفر سليمان ولكن الشياطين كفروا يعلمون الناس السحر
[Al-Baqarah 2:102]
It is impossible for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to order the Muslims to learn sorcery, because this learning leads to seeking aid from the jinn, and seeking aid from the jinn is a cause of misguidance for humans, as our Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He) also stated, informing us of a reality that existed in the first age of ignorance:
And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden. وأنه كان رجال من الإنس يعوذون برجال من الجن فزادوهم رهقاً
[Al-Jinn 72:6]
weariness and misguidance, other than that.
