Giving examples of the hastening of the resurrection of people with a special resurrection.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And this has examples in the hastening of the resurrection of people with a special resurrection. Among them is the hadith narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim in their "Sahihayn" from the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri and others from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
A man never did a good deed كان فيمن قبلكم رجلٌ لم يعمَلْ خيرًا قط
Sunan Abi Dawud 5245Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
This is as they say in the colloquial language: "This one greets this one." Both are on the same wavelength regarding the lack of righteousness, along with the faith that is necessary. He never did any good. When death approached him, he gathered his children around him and said to them, "What kind of father was I to you?" They said, "The best father." He said, "If Allah were to have power over me, He would surely punish me with a severe punishment. So when I die, take me and burn me in the fire, then scatter half of me in the wind and half in the sea." When he died, they burned him in the fire to carry out his will, and scattered half of him—meaning half of his ashes—in the raging sea, and the other half in the raging wind. Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said to his particles, "Be so-and-so," and he was. Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said to him, "O My servant, what drove you to what you did? This unjust will that indicates your doubt in the resurrection, because he said, 'If Allah were to have power over me, He would surely punish me with a severe punishment,' as if he did not believe that Allah is able to resurrect him anew, as if he is likening himself, or as if that proverb about the disbeliever at the end of Surat "Ya Sin" applies to him:
(78) And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" (79) Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِ الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ * قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنْشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ
[Ya-Sin 36:78-79]
to the end of the verse. It is as if this is the man who made this unjust will and said to his children:
if Allah gets hold of me, he will punish me in a way that He will not punish anyone else لَئِن قَدِرَ الله عليَّ لَيُعذِبَنِّي عذابًا شديدًا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2079Sahih (Darussalam)
; so, so that our Lord would not have power over him, he made this unjust will. Allah (Mighty and Majestic), who said:
Indeed, Allah is over all things competent إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
, said to this man after his particles were scattered as ashes, some in the wind and some in the water, "Be," and he was. He stood before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) as a complete human being. Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said, "O My servant, what drove you to what you did?" He said, "My Lord, I feared You. I was afraid of You. It is not that I did not believe that You are All-Powerful over everything, but out of the fear in my soul, nothing came out of me except that I made this unjust will. And Allah (Mighty and Majestic), the All-Knowing of what is in the breasts, to whom nothing is hidden on earth or in the sky, knows that this man is speaking of sincerity when he says, 'I made this unjust will out of my fear of You,' meaning that You are my Lord, and if You punish me, You will punish me with justice, and I am deserving of it. So, to be saved from this punishment, if You were to decree it upon me, I made this unjust will to be saved from the punishment, with no doubt in Your power to resurrect me and bring me to life a second time. When Allah (Mighty and Majestic) knew his truthfulness in his statement that his fear of Him was what caused his foot to slip and he made that unjust will, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said, "Go, for I have forgiven you." The point of this hadith is that it is like our hadith; each of the two men was resurrected by Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and reckoned with before the Day of Reckoning. And as we said, there is no difference with Allah between hastening the reckoning or leaving it until the promised day, and each has its portion, for Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is Wise and does what He wills.
