What is obligatory upon one who wakes up afflicted, with no sustenance, no health, and no security?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then, when a person wakes up afflicted in his body, the Messenger (peace be upon him) mentions in this hadith the minimum upon which the life of an ordinary Muslim should be established. He may not find in himself the patience that carries him to be content with the decree and destiny of Allah. But Allah (Mighty and Majestic) tests His servants as He wills. A person may wake up with no sustenance, or a person may wake up with no health, or a person may wake up without security and tranquility in his home, in his house, in his own dwelling. So what does he do? At that time, it is obligatory for him to supplicate with patience. There are many hadiths and well-known, famous verses regarding this. Among them is the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
(155) And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, (156) Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." (157) Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
[Al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
, and among them is His saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Astonishing is the affair of the believer in its entirety. If good befalls him, he praises Allah and thanks Him, and it is better for him. If bad befalls him, he is patient, and it is better for him. So the affair of the believer is all good, and that is not the case except for the believer.
