Is it better to perform the tarawih prayer in every mosque, or should some mosques combine with others, such as in the congregational mosques, so that the congregation is larger and more lively?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Green.

The questioner : Your Eminence, is it better to perform the tarawih prayer in every mosque, or should some mosques combine with others, such as in the congregational mosques, so that the congregation is larger and more lively?

The Shaykh : What appears to me is that the easiest option for people is for them to be in their own neighborhoods. Each neighborhood should perform the tarawih prayer in its mosque so that the houses of Allah the Exalted are filled with worshippers. If we were to say that they gather in one mosque, that would result in abandoning the other mosques and causing congestion in the other mosques. You know that the situation is not as it was before. People come in cars, and you find a man alone in a car, which leads to congestion and fatigue. So, I see that it is better to perform the tarawih prayer in the mosques just as the obligatory prayers are performed.
Yes.

The questioner : Your Eminence, recently, and in a striking manner, it has spread among women, with the approval of their guardians, who even help them with it, specifically what is called the niqab, the French abaya, and the pants, especially among guardians who appear to be committed to religion. I ask you to offer advice, may Allah preserve you.
