The Shaykh : Then the author repeated another chapter.
He said: "Chapter of Those Who Boycott".
He narrated it with his authentic chain of narration.
From Abu Ayyub al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said
it is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days. When they meet, this turns away from him, and that turns away from him. The better of the two is the one who initiates in salutation.
Sunan Abi Dawud 4911Sahih (Al-Albani)
.
This hadith was mentioned in the previous lesson, then he narrates after it the same hadith that was mentioned earlier.
From Hisham ibn 'Amir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say
It is not lawful for a Muslim to snub another Muslim for more than three nights. As long as they are cut off from each other, they are turning away from the Truth. The first of them to return to a proper state has his expiation for that inasmuch as he was the first to return to a proper state. If they die while they are cut off from one another, neither of them will ever enter the Garden.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 407
.
The previous lesson, if Allah wills, is in a new chapter, namely the Chapter of Hatred.
And this is sufficient, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
