What is permissible for a suitor to see of his fiancée? What is the extent of what he sees of his fiancée?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is permissible for a suitor to see of his fiancée? What is the extent of what he sees of his fiancée? And is it permissible for her to adorn herself with kohl and henna, as Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah did, as reported in al-Bukhari?

The Shaykh : He is not permitted to see, by agreement between him and her guardian, more than her face and her hands. What came in some hadiths indicating that one who is inclined to propose to a woman may see of her what leads him to marry her, that is only without prior agreement, meaning the matter is done secretly and not by agreement.
As for kohl for the eyes and dye for the hands, there is no doubt that this is permissible. And we are sufficient in the hadith as an indication. Who is the woman?

The questioner : Subay'ah.

The Shaykh : Subay'ah al-Aslamiyyah, this one.
Yes.
