The Shaykh : If there is an indication that he intended to worship through them, then it is prescribed (mashru') to follow the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in them. However, if... then in that case, the Muslim has the choice between performing them or leaving them, but it is not permissible for him to draw near to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) by means of what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not use to draw near to his Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He).
