If I am praying and during the prayer I become certain that I did not wash my feet in the wudu, how should I proceed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The question asks: If I am praying and during the prayer I become certain that I did not wash my feet, how should I proceed in the prayer? Do I say the taslim or do I leave without saying it? And if I go to perform wudu, do I wash only my feet or do I repeat the entire wudu? And if I return to the prayer, do I pray the prayer from the beginning or do I continue from where I stopped? And likewise regarding wind, if its sound is heard or its smell is found during the prayer, what is the ruling regarding leaving, restarting, or continuing?

The Shaykh : If he becomes aware that he did not wash his feet while he is praying, and he is able to go to the washing place and renew his wudu, he returns and builds upon what has passed of his prayer. If he is not able to do so, he must perform wudu with water and repeat the prayer.

The questioner : Does he leave the prayer without saying the taslim or with saying the taslim?

The Shaykh : No, without saying the taslim, because he is still in the status of a person praying. It is reported in *Sunan Abu Dawud* from the hadith of Abu Bakrah al-Thaqafi:
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out of his chamber one day for the Fajr prayer. When he said the takbir for the prayer, he gestured to them to stay in their places. Then he entered his house and returned with his head dripping water, and he prayed with them. أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج يوما من حجرته في الفجر فلما كبر للصلاة أشار إليهم أن مكانكم ثم دخل بيته ورجع ورأسه يقطر ماء فصلى بهم
meaning he completed the prayer with them. So this is why we said what we said.
