What is the ruling if I was performing 'Umrah and a volunteer came and asked me to cover my face, so I said I am in 'Umrah, meaning this might invalidate the 'Umrah, so he grabbed me and said no?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: Once I was performing 'Umrah, and then this volunteer came and asked me to cover my face. I said I am in 'Umrah, meaning this might invalidate the 'Umrah or it is not permissible. So he grabbed me and said no, no arguing in religion or in 'Umrah, and... he hit me with a stick. I did not cover my face. Did I make a mistake, or if I had covered it, would I still have made a mistake because I argued? He said your argument will take you out of the 'Umrah.

The Shaykh : No, that is ignorance, because Allah the Exalted said:
Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj. And whatever good you do - Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding. الحج أشهر معلومات فمن فرض فيهن الحج فلا رفث ولا جدال في الحج
[Al-Baqarah 2:197]
This does not mean all arguing, but rather it means arguing with falsehood. Did you argue with falsehood?
The questioner: No.

The Shaykh : That is the case, so there is no problem with this.
