What are the reasons that must be taken to revive this Ummah?

The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in this hadith: Sunan Abi Dawud 3462Sahih (Al-Albani) This gives me the opportunity to answer the part of the question that came at the end, which is: what is the way to revive this Ummah that has been afflicted with humiliation and degradation unlike anything this Ummah has suffered before this time? We say: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) described the remedy in this hadith as returning to the religion, he was proceeding from the like of the saying of the Exalted and Majestic: [Ar-Ra'd 13:11] and His saying: [Al-Anfal 8:53] So what is the cause by which Allah changed the blessing of strength, honor, and establishment in the earth that the Muslims had before? It is because we changed the blessing of Allah the Exalted and Majestic and altered it; we took hold of the causes of this world and left off jihad in the path of Allah the Exalted and Majestic. As a legal and cosmic consequence, if the Muslim does not support Allah the Exalted and Majestic, Allah will not support him, as is explicit in His saying, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Muhammad 47:7] Here I must pause. If Allah the Exalted and Majestic has placed on the tongue of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) the treatment for this chronic disease that has afflicted the Muslims in all their Islamic lands, with great regret, and that treatment is returning to their religion—and the religion, as you know, is Islam—and the Lord of mankind said: [Ali 'Imran 3:85] [Al-Ma'idah 5:3] I am pleased, on the occasion of this verse, with what Imam al-Shatibi (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in his great book al-I'tisam. He reported from Imam Malik that he said: "Whoever innovates in Islam an innovation that he considers good has claimed that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) betrayed the message." And may he be far from that. Then he said: "Read the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Al-Ma'idah 5:3]" He said, may Allah have mercy on him: "The end of this Ummah will not be set right except by what set right its beginning. What was not a religion at that time will not be a religion today." We used to cite this established report from Imam Malik, the Imam of the City of Migration, to prove that it is not permissible for a Muslim to innovate in Islam, no matter how slight the innovation, whether in morals, in acts of worship, or in matters of creed. We used to argue with this report, relying on this noble verse, that Allah the Exalted and Majestic has completed His blessing upon us by perfecting our religion, which is Islam. So what is the matter with us today, when we have become far from Islam? Not only are we far from it in what is called the Sunnahs that are contradicted by innovations, but we have become completely far from Islam, not just in these details or matters that some call secondary and non-essential, but we have become far from the Islam that Allah chose for us as a religion, even in our judgments, even in our ideas and beliefs. So if we truly, earnestly, and sincerely wish to apply this treatment that our Lord the Exalted and Majestic prescribed on the tongue of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), which is that we return to the religion
until you return to your original religion
Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it
That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves
ذلك بأن الله لم يك مغيرا نعمة أنعمها على قوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهمif you support Allah, He will support you
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.
This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.
