What is the meaning of the shaking in his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): (The Throne of the Most Merciful shook at the death of Sa'd)?

The questioner : He says: What is the meaning of the hadith of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
the Throne of the most Compassionate shook because of the death of Sa'd اهتزَّ عرش الرحمن لموت سعد
Sahih Muslim 2466b
? What is the meaning of the shaking? We ask for clarification?

The Shaykh : The shaking is linguistically known. Since this shaking, in the first place, has no connection to humans—because the shaking related to humans is known—and its connection is to the Throne of the Most Merciful (Blessed and Exalted is He), this is among the unseen matters in which it is not permissible for us, according to our Salafi methodology, to expand. However, the intended meaning, not the literal meaning, is clear: joy at the arrival of Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) to the highest companion. As for whether the shaking is merely a metaphor for this meaning or is also a real thing that befits the Throne of the Most Merciful? This second meaning is what corresponds to the scientific principles of usul al-fiqh. And there are many verses that come on this scale; such as the verse:
and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allah
[Al-Baqarah 2:74]
. Is this reality or metaphor? We say this is all reality; because the reality of everything corresponds to its existence and its nature. Therefore, it is not fitting for us to expand in interpreting this word with a literal interpretation; because it has a connection to the unseen matters.
Yes.
