The Shaykh : The ruling differs in the case of a person who wakes up in a state of major ritual impurity half an hour before the sun rises, and he takes—using the Syrian expression—his time, dragging it out, meaning he prolongs it, so that only five minutes remain before the sun rises; between the time he takes to bathe, the sun rises and it is over for him; and that is why I said: if your question is precise, as it is supposed to be, the answer is that if the sun rises on him, he was in obedience to Allah.
