A welcome address to the Shaykh and the attendees.
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides is not to be led astray, and whoever He leaves to stray is not to be guided. And I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows:
So, I welcome our Shaykh with the most beautiful welcome, and the brothers present, specifically my son-in-law "Isam al-Mukhtar," and the rest, and Professor Abu 'Imad, and all the brothers, and we ask Allah to bless our Shaykh and his life, and to let us enjoy his company, and to make him a treasure for Islam and the Muslims, and to benefit us always and forever, and to teach him what benefits him, and to benefit him with what he teaches.
And we ask Allah regarding our brothers, if Allah wills, that is the same promise with him.
The Shaykh : May Allah bless everyone.
