The deed that benefits its owner in his grave and in his afterlife is the righteous deed, not any deed whatsoever. So what are the conditions of the righteous deed so that the Muslim may take an interest in it and make it his companion in his grave, entering with him? That was mentioned in the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic):[Al-Kahf 18:110]. The scholars of exegesis said: This verse, in its latter part, indicates that two conditions are required for the righteous deed.
