The Shaykh’s warning about some well-known qudsi hadiths that have no basis.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : There are many of these qudsi hadiths, but they are very few compared to the ordinary Prophetic hadiths. There is also a lot of what is not authentic among these qudsi hadiths. There are many qudsi hadiths, some of which are well-known among people, but they are from those that have no basis in the hadith. For example, everyone hears "My earth and my sky did not contain Me, but the heart of My believing servant contained Me". This is a hadith that has no basis; rather, it is from the Isra'iliyyat, meaning what came in the books of the former people, the Jews and the Christians. As for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) speaking such words, that is something that has no basis. Also, among the well-known hadiths is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: "Whoever performs ablution and does not pray has disappointed Me, and whoever prays and does not supplicate to Me has disappointed Me, and I am not the Lord of one who disappoints Me". This hadith is "al-Jaf" (the disappointed one) because it has no basis in the hadiths of the Messenger (peace be upon him).
