What is your opinion on me writing pamphlets and publications on tawhid (the oneness of Allah), the types of shirk (associating partners with Allah), and undutifulness to parents, and distributing them to the brothers in hope of Allah's reward?

The questioner : I mean following the Sunnah of the Prophet and finishing, I mean, and I give them to my brothers, I mean there is nothing wrong with it, but is it forbidden, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : I did not understand, there is nothing wrong with it, what does that mean?

The questioner : I mean, is this plan good? I performed istikharah (the prayer for guidance in a decision) with Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He); so does that mean I reveal it and direct it, I mean, for the sake of Allah? Will I benefit, I mean, is it a good plan or not?

The questioner : I mean, I write, for example, on tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and its types...

The Shaykh : No, there are composed treatises.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : There are treatises composed previously; distribute them to the people.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Distribute them from those who composed them, the scholars of knowledge.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Do not burden yourself.
