The Shaykh : Then the following hadith is also authentic, and it is his saying: And from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) - he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2399Hasan (Darussalam) .
In this hadith, there is a new type of news and good tidings for the Muslim whose calamities and afflictions continue to befall him and strike him. If the condition of the Muslim is such, then that means it is a good tidings from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) that if he is patient with it and receives those calamities with satisfaction and seeks reward for them from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), he will meet Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with no sin upon him. All the previous hadiths revolve around the fact that a calamity is met with the expiation of a sin and the raising of a degree, whereas this hadith gives us a new meaning; which is that if affliction continues to descend upon the Muslim in its various forms and types; in his wealth, that his wealth may decrease, burn, or be stolen, and that he may be afflicted in his children, either by death or by an illness that burdens him with fatigue and hardship and ... in treating it, all of that becomes a cause for all his sins to be erased, so that he meets Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with no sin in his record.
Trials will not cease afflicting the believing man and the believing woman in their self, children, and wealth, until they meet Allah without having any sin.
