The reciter: He said -may Allah have mercy on him-: "And it was narrated from Mu'adh ibn Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone suppresses anger when he is in a position to give vent to it, Allah, the Exalted, will call him on the Day of Resurrection over the heads of all creatures, and ask him to choose any of the bright and large eyed maidens he wishes. مَن كظم غيظاً وهو قادر على أن ينفذه دعاه الله سبحانه وتعالى على رؤوس الخلائق يوم القيامة حتى يخيره مِن الحور العين ما شاء
Sunan Abi Dawud 4777Hasan (Al-Albani)
, Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi narrated it, and he said: It is a good hadith.
And it was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him):
A man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Advise me." He said: "Do not get angry." The man repeated it several times, and he said: "Do not get angry." أن رجلاً قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصني ، قال : لا تغضب ، فردد مراراً قال : لا تغضب
, al-Bukhari narrated it.
And it was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Trials will not cease afflicting the believing man and the believing woman in their self, children, and wealth, until they meet Allah without having any sin. ما يزال البلاء بالمؤمن والمؤمنة في نفسه وولده وماله حتى يلقى الله تعالى وما عليه خطيئة
