So the young man who grew up in the obedience of Allah, then committed apostasy, and then returned to Islam, he receives the reward of the young man who grew up in the obedience of Allah. And likewise, if a Companion commits apostasy and then returns to Islam, his status as a Companion is not invalidated; rather, this merit remains for him like all other righteous deeds.
