Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (About what are they asking one another? About the great news)]

Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
(1) About what are they asking one another? (2) About the great news - (3) That over which they are in disagreement.عَمَّ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ * عَنْ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ * الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
[Al-Naba: 1-3] Meaning: About what are these people who deny the Qur'an and other things asking one another? Then Allah the Mighty and Majestic answered this question, saying:
(2) About the great news - (3) That over which they are in disagreement.عَنْ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ * الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
[Al-Naba: 2-3] And this news is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought of clear proofs and guidance, especially what he brought of reports concerning the Last Day, the Resurrection, and the recompense. And the people differed regarding this news that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought: Some of them believed in it and affirmed it, and some of them disbelieved in it and denied it. So Allah made it clear that these who denied it will know what they denied with the knowledge of certainty. And that is when they see the Resurrection:
The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truthيَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ
[Al-A'raf: 53] ,For this reason, He said here:
(4) No! They are going to know. (5) Then, no! They are going to know.كَلَاّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ * ثُمَّ كَلَاّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ
[Al-Naba: 4-5] The second sentence is an emphasis of the first in terms of meaning, even though it is not an emphasis according to the terminology of the grammarians, because he separated it from the one before it with a conjunction, and an emphasis is not separated from what it emphasizes by any of the letters. And the knowledge by which Allah threatens them is the knowledge of certainty that they will witness, in accordance with what they were informed.
