Ruling on Delaying Pregnancy for a Benefit the Husband Sees

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The husband sees a benefit in delaying pregnancy for his wife. What is the ruling on that? Also, what is the ruling on contraceptives such as pills, the IUD, and others?
There is no doubt that contraceptives, whether pills or medications, are contrary to what is prescribed and contrary to what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wants for his Ummah; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wants his Ummah to increase their offspring,As the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Marry women who are loving and fertile, for I will compete with the nations in your numbers) .
And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) blessed the Children of Israel with their large numbers,So he said:
and made you more numerous in manpowerوَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيراً
[Al-Isra: 6] .
And Shu'ayb reminded his people of their large numbers,So he said:
when you were few and He increased youإِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلاً فَكَثَّرَكُمْ
[Al-A'raf: 86] .
And any attempt to reduce the population of the Muslim Ummah is nothing but a deception by the enemies of the Muslims, whether they are the hypocrites who pretend to be Muslim, or the disbelievers who openly declare enmity toward the Muslims.
But sometimes dire necessity calls for reducing childbirth because the mother cannot bear it and it causes her harm,So at that time we say: there is no harm in that, and the lesser of the two harms should be chosen. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to practice coitus interruptus during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and they were not forbidden from doing so, even though the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about coitus interruptus? So he said: (It is the hidden form of infanticide) This indicates that even though it is permissible, there is something of dislike in it.
On this occasion, I would like to point out a phenomenon that was mentioned to us,and she: that many of the midwives or female doctors in hospitals insist on delivery by operation, which is called a C-section, and I fear that this is a plot against the Muslims; because as C-sections become more frequent, the abdominal skin weakens and pregnancy becomes dangerous for the woman, and she can no longer bear it. Some people from private hospitals told me that many women were presented to hospitals where the officials decided that a C-section was necessary, but when they came to this private hospital, they gave birth naturally. He mentioned more than eighty such cases in about a month, or slightly less or more. This means that the matter is serious, and attention must be paid to it. It must be known that childbirth necessarily involves pain and necessarily involves fatigue,
His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardshipحَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهاً وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهاً
[Al-Haqqah: 15] , and it is not the case that a woman goes to have the baby delivered just because she feels the contractions so that she does not feel them. Natural delivery is better than delivery by operation, whether by C-section or otherwise; but if there is unusual difficulty, then she should go and be cautious about C-sections as much as she can.
