The slaughter of one who does not pray is not eaten; because he is a disbeliever, and nothing is eaten from the slaughter of disbelievers except the Jews and the Christians, for their slaughter is lawful;By the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):

and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them

وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ

[Al-Ma'idah: 5] .
