What is the ruling on the slaughter of one who does not pray? Is it eaten?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Your Eminence, is the slaughter of one who does not pray eaten?

The Shaykh : The slaughter of one who does not pray is not eaten, because he is a disbeliever, and the slaughter of disbelievers is not eaten except that of the Jews and the Christians, for their slaughter is lawful, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them وطعام الذين أوتوا الكتاب حلّ لكم وطعامكم حلّ لهم
[Al-Ma'idah 5:5]
